About the Author:
Born, John Bryant Hicks in 1965, John was one of eleven children growing up in a three-bedroom home in a suburb of Los Angeles. He attended Parochial school for most of his school years, graduating in 1983 from high school. For the last 19 years, John has been a Los Angeles City Firefighter where he now holds the rank of Firefighter/Paramedic. Today, John is married with three children and still lives locally. He began writing books late in his life by accident. What was supposed to be a 15-page idea for a movie soon became a book of just under 150 pages, and he hasn't had a good night's sleep since. Waking up in all hours of the night with ideas in his head, he has written one other novella length book and three unpublished children's picture books. He is currently working on his third novella length book.
