How to Draw Manga Supersize, Volume 1
Mixed feelings about this.
This is a book about using photoshop to stylize existing photos to look like paintings, -not- a book about using photoshop to make digital paintings from scratch.
On the one hand the title of this book is innacurate to the point of willfull fraudulence, and frankly the publisher should be penalized for it.
On the other hand I feel bad for the author. She obviously put a lot of work into detailing these photo editing techniques, and often the results are quite spectatular.
I just wish I hadnt been lied to. But I learned an important lesson I plan to keep in mind as I continue my search for a book on digital painting.
