The word "lace" evokes romantic images of crisp white bed linens, festive dinner tables, and special dresses for brides and newborn babies. No wonder present-day fiber artists love this medium and are always searching for new, exuberant uses of colors and materials. Since 1975, artists and hobbyists have depended on Needle Lace and Needle Weaving, the classic compendium of stitches and techniques by Jill Nordfors Clark. In her new book, Clark enlarges on her original work with new stitches, new techniques and a gorgeous gallery of needle lace from around the world.
About the Author:
Jill Nordfors Clark has taught needle lace workshops in Canada, New Zealand, England and throughout the United States. She is a past president of Northwest Designer Craftsmen, and her work has been collected and exhibited internationally.
