Soul Within a Peach is Florence Sau Kin's spiritual journey to inner freedom despite the oppression of her generation. Born in Hawaii in 1915 to Chinese immigrants, Florence was brought into a world filled with strict cultural expectations, poverty and obedience. From early childhood trauma through an unstable marriage, her religious beliefs from Buddhism and Catholicism sustained her spiritual peace.
