I have had a series of books by Gene Edwards for some time and as I am on holiday chose to plunge into reading one of them. I was not disappointed.....it was a good read and as a story about Timothy's journey it was very factual and informative. I did get bogged down a few times and found myself reading but not taking in parts of the story but overall I followed it well. It helped me to understand the people involved with the Apostle Paul and if their personalities and more of the culture of that period. It gave me a hunger to read more of the diary type books by this author that I have......so I will be picking up another of his books soon.
