Uncursing the Dark: Treasures from the Underworld Book

I found this to be a really engaging, and enthralling book. I recommend it to any woman who is going through the journey of breaking free from the the patriarchal models imposed onto women by reviving herself in the dark feminine archetype, which the author states has been lost and oppressed but is coming back to women in their dreams, in their feelings, and with bold tenacity. As someone who has felt the shift in creating a path dedicated to a life of the moon and to goddess culture, I definitely recommend this book. It has some great insight into the prosperous goddess culture of the Neolithic Age and how the patriarchal culture took over and defined a masculine-influenced woman's role. There is also a lot of good insight into Inanna's mythology and the influence she once had on the Mesopotamian cultures as the Queen of Heaven and Earth. If She calls you, break free and discover Her.
