Pegeen and the Pilgrim
An excellent read and introduction to the start of the Shakespearean Festival in Stratford Ontario. This reprinted edition has a forward by the new copyright owner and acclaimed writer Jane Urquhart (The Stone Carvers, Sanctuary Road) who was greatly influenced by this novel which she read as a young lady. To anyone who has attended the Festival or grown up in Stratford, Ontario or its vicinity, this book would be a highly enjoyable read and a welcome friend on one's bookshelf.
