Fearless Parenting Handle With Love
Great book for a first time parent, but experienced parents will already know a lot of this stuff intuitively. I really like Dr Gordon because he, like Dr Sears, straddles mainstream and attachment parenting ideals. Because of his credentials (M.D.) and being a Pediatrician to a few celebrities, he might persuade a few parents to go from more conventional approaches like letting baby cry, sleeping baby in a crib, etc, to the gentler ideas of co-sleeping and listening to and holding your baby. Nothing revolutionary here, just good basic ideals for parenting your baby.
