I thought this book was ok. I understand that there are stories told and they often represent something. In this case each character in the story represented the seasons changing. However, I don't think this book is one that many children will find interesting. Simply because, there is not rising action, no climax, and nothing that really keeps the reader engaged. I thought the illustrations were nice, but overall the story wasn't my favorite, very dry.
