This manual is organized and written to be understood by wide range of readers through discussions that apply chemistry to everyday life. Presented in an easy-to-follow, compact format, the manual also addresses concerns of personal and environmental safety. The book incorporates four major adjustments into all procedures: microscaled laboratory tests; the substitution of non-hazardous materials; some procedures converted to individual observations; and eliminating procedures of limited value.
