The Consequence Book

In one of the most stylish literary debuts in many years, we meet Fintan Kearney, who has a unique and bewildering problem; a phone call from his London publisher tells him his novel is ready for publication. But, unlike his family and friends, Fintan has no recollection whatsoever of writing it. Then, when he eventually denies writing the book, his statement is dismissed as a publicity stunt. In desperation he begins to write a "true" account of his past, to correct the misinformation about his three friends. The ending is a puzzle, as is the book.
