Well this is certainly the LAST time I take a chance on a book until I have more info from reliable sources.

To say that I don't care for the writing style is being polite. Since I am not always polite, let me say that this was super cheesy and melodramatic. The characters were like bad actors from a 1930's movie.

Well here's what I liked:

1. A relatively strong heroine
2. Decent descriptions of the land and atmosphere

What I didn't like:

1. The book could have been 100 pages shorter.
2. Cliche' dialogue
3. flat and stereotypical characters
4. cartoonish antagonists
5. predictable outcome
6. lack of details/many unanswered questions
7. anitclimatic
8. conflicts too easily resolved

This book is not worth my time for any further critique. sorry, wont be reading more from this author.

Hero- Had many many women. Not detailed, (thankfully)
Heroine-Virgin (of course)
Cheating-No
Violence- Mild
OM/OW-No
Abuse-No
Rape-No
Adultery-No
Cursing-No
HEA/ILY's yes eventually, but I no longer cared at that point
Marriage/Baby- Yes to both eventually, but I no longer cared at that point
