Sabbath And Jubilee
Still very interested in this subject, but this volume had to many distractions from the main point to be enjoyable. The author seems compelled to regularly attribute the covenant blessings of God through the Sabbath to a later date, another people, or as a cover for real exploits (as in the kingship). Often, this was done without any point related to the subject whatsoever or without any grounds (citation) for this view. Perhaps I can find a better biblical theology on Sabbath out there. I really enjoyed L. Michael Morales' biblical theology on Leviticus and was hoping for an expansion on some of the discussion of sabbath therein.
This was not what I was hoping for.
