Oil Painting Secrets from a Master
Leffel's still lives are spectacular, but this book was not. There were some gems of advice in here, but too many redundancies, vagueness, and contradictions. It also felt a little random at times. And while most of the plates were of good quality, some seemed very blurry.
It's still is worth the read, however, but probably not if you're a stone cold beginner.
