In the rain forests of Central and South America, small, furry, colorful monkeys flit through the treetops. Called New World monkeys as a group, capuchins, tamarins, spider monkeys, marmosets and their relatives live high in the trees and eat fruit, flowers, seeds, leaves, and even insects. Scientists keep discovering new types of these tree dwellers and have learned that some, like the capuchins, use tools to get their food.
