Ohio and the World, 1753-2053
Well organized assessment of a very high level church work. The writer is careful, at times overly careful, not to appear one-sided in his assessment and evaluation. I read this mainly to understand how my own church can learn from the experience of Willow Creek. I cam away with the determination that church is for the believe primarily and the first goal of the pastor and other teachers is to disciple and develop the believers into fully mature in Christ. While the evangelical heart of Willow Creek is strong, much of what they do on Sunday is best done out in the community where people are. Big attempt and the writer mostly pulls it off.
