John Henry and Paul Bunyan cannot find anyone that they can play baseball with. They can play each other though once they adapt baseball to their gigantic size.

I had to find this book because it was my favorite as a child. Teaching students here in South Dakota the name Paul Bunyan will definitely come up in school. The fact that he has Minnesota connections will make students really want to learn about him. This tall tale is so preposterous that it will make students really wonder about this man. John Henry is another gigantic man that helped to connect the states with the railroad. These two men will be read about for a very long time. To use this book in the classroom when learning about logging and railroads will really get students interested in these topics.
