Al principio pensé que a este libro le faltaba más análisis del trabajo de los Beat. Pero como no es sobre los autores y sus obras sino sobre el ambiente que existÃa en EEUU en los 50's y lo que se plasmaba en el cine de la época vs. la emergente cultura Beat y algunas reacciones a la sociedad en el cine experimental o marginal, creo que es un muy buen libro. Y...después de pensarle más, me di cuenta de que en efecto sà hay cosas muy acertadas sobre Kerouac, Ginsberg y Burroughs, entre otros. De hecho, creo que es uno de los mejores textos que informan la obra de Burroughs y Kerouac en especial.
