Made in God's Image: The Catholic Vision of Human Dignity
The thesis seems sound, though any legal or religious system that relies on precedent is going to frame its arguments in terms that are consistent with tradition. Not having known much about the conference, I appreciated the education on its substance, but the statement that "Christ's death was more due to our sins than the Jews" is a form of damning with faint praise; I'd hoped/believed that the statement was more strongly exculpatory of Jews as a people for the crucifixion.
