Children need to learn how to channel anger so that their feelings don't lead to destructive behavior. This book is an excellent resource for parents and caregivers who want to teach children that there are acceptable ways to deal with angry feelings. At the outset, the text helps children to identify anger. The protagonist, a young, female rabbit, is depicted in a variety of situations that create angry feelings, i.e., when a friend does not share, when her brother gets more attention, when her team loses and when she gets blamed for something that wasn't her fault. The engaging full-page illustrations speak volumes. They clearly show how angry feelings, legitimate or not, can be resolved through positive actions, such as taking deep breaths "to send the anger out," talking, riding a bicycle or running, or doing a favorite activity.
