Kaiser walks through several Old Testament passages that show how Israel was to accomplish the missions that God gave them, and he even includes opposing views to his own in this book. At the end he concludes by showing how Paul's missionary call had its roots in the Old Testament. This book highlights that it is those who hold to more liberal theology that deny the missionary aspects in the Old Testament. This book truly shows that God has always been about pursuing the nations with His people.
