Too wordy to read aloud in a library story time, but we were just looking for night-time friends of BATS. You can ask children what sounds the various animals and birds make. You can say "Peek-a-BOO!" as you lift the flaps. On the "moths" page they children said "Butterflies" so we explained that butterflies are out in the day and moths come out at night. Then we had them say "MOTHS" with us. Hey -- sneaky vocabulary sharing opportunity!
