Hiawatha and Megissogwon
We do a nightly poetry reading at our house and I thought I'd add this excerpt of a classic to the mix and if it was a hit with the kids, we'd tackle the whole poem. It wasn't really, but I enjoyed it, mostly for the rhythm of the verse and the imagery. The artwork and the informative afterword in this edition are nice additions, too.
