The works of Leonardo da Vinci, especially the Mona Lisa, the world's most famous painting, continue to draw millions of visitors to museums across the world from the Louvre in Paris to the National Gallery in Washington D.C. But Leonardo completed remarkably few paintings. He did however leave us more than 4,000 drawings on various subjects, seamlessly merging the worlds of art and science. Included in this calendar are forty-seven of the Old Master's sketches, as well as five masterpiece paintings paired with drawings on the same theme. The only calendar on Leonardo's drawings features images of the artist's most legendary inventions and musings such as the flying machine, the study of human proportion, and the sketch for the Last Supper.
