The Secret of the Seven Seeds: A Parable of Leadership and Life Book

This book makes nonsense seem like science and science seem like nonsense. There's some basic wisdom and solid information in here but it's a weird mish-mash of several forms that don't work together. On the one hand it's a One-Minute Manager style parable for businessmen who need to slow down to get more done. OK. Then it's a science book describing experiments on how meditation leads to physical changes that improve health. Fair enough. Then it's mystical mumbo-jumbo about astral projection and other stuff from TV shows about magical people. That can work as poetry, or in a Paulo Coelho novel or something, but not with this format. It's just not kosher to mix all this stuff in the same pot.

The point of self-help is if it helps you, but I think there are better sources on meditation, etc.
