Part safari guide, photojournalist, and reluctant hero, Mark C. Ross tells a very compelling story that would capture any reader. Anyone who is fascinated with animals will love the stories of tracking predators as they track their prey. There is little African contact though for those of us that are culturalist, however, the Samburu experience was worth the wait at the end of the book.
