Latino Periodicals: A Selection Guide Book

This is a collection development tool for librarians who need information on Latino periodicals suitable for public, school and academic libraries. Titles—described and evaluated by specialists—include general interest and popular magazines, newspapers, fotonovelas, and newsletters that will appeal to Spanish–speaking, bilingual, and English–speaking library patrons, as well as the more specialized journals considered appropriate for the larger public and academic libraries. Greatly expanding the "Latin America, Latino (U.S.), Spain and Portugal" section of Katz and Katz's Magazines for Libraries, the book covers such areas of interest as business and professional, current events, parenting, literature and culture, politics and social issues, Latin America, sports, and physical fitness.
