The Promise of Peace
The second book of the Salinas Valley Saga, the writing gets better and the story gets more and more interesting keeping you wondering how things will turn out for the main character, Marianne. She learns to be patient with the Lord and He blesses her mightily. I liked it soo much that I am looking for #3.
