Keeper of the Winds Book

This book had me really annoyed at first. They way the author wrote and portrayed the characters drove me crazy. In fact, it still does. I mean, who names the main character after themselves? That was the first thing that bothered me. Then, the author has to use the very typical writing idea of creating a love triangle where the girl in the love triangle has a best friend who is in love with her, but she only wants to be friends, and that the other boy in the love triangle repulses her and intrigues her at the same time. Its been done before. Also, the guy who the main character, Jenna, wants to not like, is perfectly fine. The author forces conflict between them when it doesn't make sense. If the story was really happening in real life, they wouldn't fight or argue. They are perfectly cohesive! Also, no one loves coffee THAT much. The author seems to focus on all these teeny tiny details that really doesn't matter! Plus, the character has idiotic trust issues that don't make sense, either. Not to mention the fact that the author's writing is the equivalent of a kindergartener! She uses the same words over and over again in one sentence which just makes it repetitive and annoying.The plot, and idea, are both really good, but the way the author writes it and the characters is positively awful.
