One member, Stacy, wants each child to pick a fruit of the spirit [such as patience and goodness] from the Bible as a New Year's resolution. All the kids except Jason, who is generally a stick in the mud, think that this is a great idea. The predictable plot centers on how Stacy and the others bring Jason into the fold.
