Tarantula Keeper's Guide, 2nd Ed. Book

This book covers fundamental knowledge on tarantula husbandry. In a successful attempt to treat my arachnophobia, I had caught and kept three Chaetopelma Olivaceum-specie tarantulas with no prior experience, relying solely on intuition and online forums, until I decided to give this book a read. As comprehensive as it is, I couldn't find enough specifics on this specie in particular (I'm not surprised. As far as my resources go, scarce is literature on them.) I assumed similar settings to other species who appear to live in similar environments. I've met with other practical difficulties; in my country, arachnids (which are not differentiated from insects here) are unheard of as pets, and superstitiously frowned upon. This proved to be a challenge when looking for the appropriate items for their enclosures, and had to make do the terrarrium with any available substrate (I used dirt from a garden pot), and I had to decorate them creatively with household items. Moreover, the process of feeding them could only be sustained seasonally; I used to light-trap moths to feed them. I couldn't find healthy cockroaches for breeding... It brought me joy to see them web around the little places I've fixed for them.
Of course, if you're picking up this book, you most likely live somewhere with a more diverse arachnid fauna, and where you may buy spider-food, enclosures and perhaps even set-ups readily available for you. Many are sold online, and perhaps even in pet-stores. If this is your case, this book is a great companion, regardless of your knowledge on the topic. I started clueless.
