The First Christmas: A Changing-Picture Book
This is a lovely paraphrase telling of the Bible account of the birth of Jesus. The illustrations are done in soft, dreamy pastels. The uniqueness of the book is that it has several pages where you can pull the flap of the page to alternate between one picture and another. This is a book for children who cherish their books. Too much of a pull of the flap will tear the book apart.
