Kenneth Burke
Very useful little helper to Rousseau's great work of positive political philosophy. Bertram allows Rawls too much influence on his reading of Rousseau, but one can abstract from this, and the book is quite useful especially to teachers who want to figure out what some of the obscurer passages might mean and need a guide to the common interpretations on the table.
