This book is amazing as it, has a good mixture of text and pictures. The fact that the pictures are photographs, gives a reality to the information they are learning about. The language in the book is a challenge for young readers but there is a glossary provide in the back for the harder words, and gives more detail to the people the book mentions. The pages are framed in the boarder giving the book an organized look, which will help struggling readers' keep their place while reading. It also has information within the book to dig deeper or more activities to do with your students, which is excellent. It also isn't very graphic which is a way to not upset the parents or kids with the sad topic.
