I should start by admitting that this book was written by my dad. If you know anyone who is a combat vet, or if you are interested in the human mind and heart, you should give this book a try. It sounds like a difficult read, but it is basically a collection of stories of war and healing. I guess it is "difficult" to read the war stories, but on an emotional level, not a technical level. If you don't want to read the worst of the war stories, you can skip the first part of the book and start with the treatment and redemption parts.
