Lost Children
Written in the 50's, The Lost Children is a sweet book reminiscent of the author's later books. It is a love story woven with a human interest story surrounding four "lost" people. Two are orphaned, one is caring for her younger sibs and father after the death of her mother and the last is a lonely American GI. It was a nice peek into post-war England and the generation that came of age in the 50's.
