A crimson dawn Book

It's an European fiction written about the aftermath of a war focusing on a common man's perspective

I love these books because instead of the glory of the victorious or the absolute death of the loser, they focus on the common man living in these countries. How they suffer irrespective of who won. It is them that lost their way of life and their husbands and children, it is them that was left to fend for themselves in damp slums in a time where the governments were cutting costs in each and every segment of the economy.

And if this common man tried to raise their voice, they were termed rebels and hunted down irrelevant of gender.

There is a quote from this book that perfectly sums up the after war situation of a victorious nation:

If I had to sum it up it is a wonderful narration of love and war from the lives of strong minded common people who campaigned tirelessly for a world of peace.
