Lost in the forest Book

This book is a continuation of my year of discovering and reading all of Sue Miller's books.
As most of her books there is so much going on, on so many levels. People searching for happiness, and how they go about finding it.
It's these insights into various people and relationships that I love about her work. The choices they make and whether we think they are the "right" ones or possibly the ones we'd choose.
This story is told in three points of view: Mark, Eva and Daisy.
Mark and Eva were married, now divorced, and Daisy is one of their two daughters.
It is also the story of Eva's second husband's death and the effect that has on all involved.
How they all deal with that loss and grief.
There is the question involving adultery; to reveal or not to reveal.
The sense of lostness we all periodically feel in life and how we wish for someone else, or some event to help give our lives meaning
I found Daisy to be the most interesting character. And the situation with
a close friend of the family, an older man, and the lines crossed.
As a bit of trivia: I also learned about the proper pronunciation of the word forte. And how many of us pronounce it incorrectly. That is should be pronounced as fort.
And from the book, on page 260, a quote from Shakespeare
"Men have died from time to time and worms have eaten them, but not for love."
If you like "people stories and thoughts provoking work, this book is worth the read.
