Community as Healing
A centrist Democrat, Michelle Caruso-Cabrera believes in smaller government, in getting government out of our lives and our bedrooms, except when mandated by the Constitution, and pretty much to maintain law and order.
Intrusion by the Government is best left locally to the states where possible, rather than the Federal Government. She sets forth a number of instances in which the Federal Government tried to do the right thing, and it failed badly.
