Green Patch: D-Day and Beyond
Excellent read for those aspiring to become a civil rights attorney. Shows how exciting and fulfilling it can be to advocate for those less fortunate, and run over by big corporate America. Unfortunately, you can also see how tough it is to "make it" in his specific practice of law. The stable, lucrative path is in the defense side of civil rights/ employment law litigation. He discusses several tactics and strategies used by opposing counsels and how it almost bankrupt him not once but several times.
Overall, it's a great book and would highly recommend to 0Ls.
