The Pyramids of Giza (Great Structures in History Series) Book

All the pictures in this book are shaped in squares. I think the illustrated did this so the pictures look as if they are paintings. Not just pictures that are in a book but to make them look like pictures in an art gallery. There are some pictures that are cartoon style also. The cartoons in the book are making a joke out of Botticelli. I think the illustrator put them in to make the book not so serious but make it also enjoyable to read. The cartoon pictures are very colorful while the other pictures are more somber colors. I think the bright colors are used to symbols fun and laughter while the dull colors are used to symbols beauty and seriousness.
