Jesse Owens: Track-and-Field Champion Book

This book was OK. It's more of a biographical story of Galileo than about his work and discoveries. It does provide a brief overview of some of his work, though.

The book highlights the fact that Galileo was curious and invented things to help him learn more about the world. It also focuses a bit on the controversies of the time between science and religion. But when it goes into some of what he learned and did, it's very brief even though the ideas are quite complex. I can't actually imagine using this book with students because, unless they already understand some of these concepts, the book will be confusing. If they do already understand the concepts, then the book would be a pointless summary.
