The creators of the Toy Story films reopen the toy box and bring moviegoers back to the delightful world of our favorite gang of toy characters in Toy Story 3. Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and the rest of Andy’s toys are as fun and adventurous as always, but none of them can deny that things in Andy’s room have changed. Andy is seventeen now and just three days away from heading off to college. Find out what happens to the beloved toys when they’re compelled to leave Andy’s room behind and embark on an all-new comedic adventure in Toy Story 3. This chapter book retells all of the action from the new Disney/Pixar film.

This chapter book in the "Stepping Stone" series is based on the movie features toy charactersWoody, Buzz, and Jessie. Their predicament is that Andy, who has played with them and taken care of them for many years, is now a teenager going away to college. They know that they will be stored in the attic, or worse, be put in the trash bin. Woody feels confident that Andy will continue to take care of them, but Andy's mother insists that he get rid of the toys. This leads to a series of adventures in which Woody and his friends find themselves in jeopardy at a daycare center. After many exciting maneuvers, including falling into a garbage dumpster, they finally reach safety back at Andy's house. A touching and satisfying ending finds Woody and his friends experiencing one more playtime with Andy and finding a new home with a little girl named Bonnie.
