Crossfire
This fourth book in the Marty Hopkins series has Marty fighting her own memories of her father's death when she investigates the machete killing and burning of a local man. News of the event brings Liv Mann to Indiana from Brooklyn, NY, because the circumstances are similar to her father's death several years before.
Good descriptions of the area and people. Strong story and although personal information is presented about Marty, it's done within the context of the story. No let down in the action or intrigue.
