The Competency-Based Rad Tech Workbook Book

This comprehensive competency manual includes two mechanisms for evaluating student performance on all routine and some nonroutine radiographic procedures. One test is performed under simulated conditions in the laboratory, while the second is performed in the clinical environment on a patient under direct observation of a clinical instructor or technologist. Constructed in a specific step-by-step checklist format, the tests also evaluate patient interaction skills, exam preparation and completion skills, as well as the quality of the radiographic image produced.
