Noblewomen
I was impressed by the depth of the research Johns did on her work. Power is particularly universal topic to pursue yet she managed to make her point using specific situations and senarios which brought real lives into focus. The link between land, money and power was clearly delinated and gave considerable strength to her arguments even while her source material was occasionally problematic.
