Walking the dog and other stories Book

These beautifully crafted short stories showcase why this form of writing is popular. I was impressed with almost every story and they way Clanchy draws in the reader to engage with the characters (both likeable and unlikeable) and the story-line. The appeal, to me, is in the unfolding of the characters and their circumstances as well as the sense of completeness of each story episode, even those with surprises and twists. I will definitely be searching out more of his work.
