InteresantÃsimo libro que partiendo de una caracterización de la moda como fenómeno histórico, pasa a identificar algunos rasgos de las sociedades actuales. El autor maneja mucha información, jerarquiza adecuadamente las ideas, debate con otras posturas y es siempre inteligente. Tal vez algunas ideas se reiteran innecesariamente, quizás piensa demasiado en el mundo desarrollado e ignora otras realidades, pero son asuntos menores en comparación con lo atractivo de las miradas que se arrojan sobre el mundo contemporáneo.
