Coyote makes man
When coyote asks the other animals for input on how to make one last creature, they all suggest things that are just like their own traits. So then, the author says, coyote incorporated all the suggestions and made Man. I'm not sure how that worked, as an animal possessing all the things mentioned by the others would be nothing like a human being, but that's that the text says. Don't ask. Also don't ask me to explain coyote thought process, as he isn't given much personality in this retelling.
