Tasty: Get Great Food on the Table Every Day Book

I go to this cookbook often. I mark the recipes by season, and add some of my own ingredients. Some of his recipes are very simple (Overnight oatmeal, egg salad sandwiches), and some are more complicated. There are several that will only work in the summer because of the ingredients, but if you try to eat seasonally, you'll love this book. One of my favorites is a fettuccine with corn and tomatoes, in a butter cream sauce. Amazing, and o-so simple, and the ingredients can all be purchased from the farmers' market in June-September.

He goes through simple things, like how to make a proper scrambled eggs and roast a chicken. They may be simple, but I've learned from this cook-book editor turned author.
